Sur le site de la rivière, la pierre s'impose comme matière première du paysage. L'installation s'inspire des géodes naturelles, ces cavités rocheuses tapissées de cristaux, en créant une architecture monolithique qui abrite en son cœur un espace de contemplation. Une faille nette, évocation des phénomènes géologiques, constitue l'entrée de cette masse rocheuse artificielle, invitant les visiteurs à s'y aventurer pour découvrir le trésor intérieur.
Au centre de cette enveloppe minérale se déploie une structure en tasseaux de bois, matériau précieux de la région devenu rare avec la raréfaction des espaces forestiers. Ces éléments ligneux, orchestrés comme des cristaux, semblent fossilisés au cœur de la roche et dialoguent avec les forêts environnantes. Cette composition met en tension deux matérialités locales tout en offrant un espace de méditation face au paysage vallonné.
L'œuvre s'implante dans les hauteurs du lit de la rivière tel un oratoire naturel, se fondant dans son environnement tout en le magnifiant. Cette architecture éphémère révèle la beauté intrinsèque des matériaux bruts du site et transforme l'expérience du paysage en parcours initiatique, depuis la découverte de la faille jusqu'à la contemplation panoramique qu'offre le cœur cristallin de la géode.

On the river site, stone imposes itself as the raw material of the landscape. The installation draws inspiration from natural geodes, those rocky cavities lined with crystals, creating a monolithic architecture that shelters a space of contemplation at its heart. A sharp fault, evoking geological phenomena, forms the entrance to this artificial rocky mass, inviting visitors to venture in and discover the treasure within.
At the centre of this mineral shell unfolds a structure of timber battens, a precious material of the region grown rare with the dwindling of forest spaces. These woody elements, orchestrated like crystals, seem fossilised within the rock and dialogue with the surrounding forests. This composition sets two local materialities in tension while offering a space for meditation before the rolling landscape.
The work is set in the heights of the riverbed like a natural oratory, blending into its environment while magnifying it. This ephemeral architecture reveals the intrinsic beauty of the site's raw materials and transforms the experience of the landscape into an initiatory journey, from the discovery of the fault to the panoramic contemplation offered by the crystalline heart of the geode.
